1. New Hire (First 30 days):
- Initial training period for new employees.
2. Sandwich Artist (Meets base wage):
- Entry-level position after the initial training period.
- Base wage is established.
3. Professional Artist ($.50/hr raise):
- Promotion from Sandwich Artist.
- Receives a $0.50/hr raise.
- Eligible for additional responsibilities.
4. VIP Artist ($1.00/hr differential):
- Further promotion from Professional Artist.
- Receives a $1.00/hr differential from the base wage.
- Eligible for additional responsibilities.
5. Trainer:
- Must be a Professional Artist with 540 hours of working experience.
- Completion of in-store skills test is required.
- Receives a $1.00/hr differential.
- Receives an additional $2.00/hr differential when actively involved in training.
- Eligible for additional responsibilities.

Welcome to Sub 1107 LLC, DBA. Subway! This employee handbook serves as a guide to help you understand our company policies and expectations. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the contents of this handbook, as it outlines the guidelines for your employment with us.Employment Policies
1.1 Employment Relationship: Your employment with Sub 1107 LLC, DBA. Subway is at-will, which means that either you or the company can terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.

Employees must report to work in a fit condition and are prohibited from performing their duties while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.1.6 All employees of Sub 1107 LLC, DBA. Subway are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds high standards of moral and ethical behavior. This includes acting in good faith and with honesty, integrity, and fairness in all aspects of their work. Employees should strive to maintain a positive and respectful work environment, treating fellow employees, customers, and stakeholders with respect and professionalism. Any conduct that violates these principles may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.Work Schedule and Timekeeping
2.1 Work Hours: Your work hours will be determined by the schedule provided by the company. Please arrive on time and be ready to begin work at your scheduled start time.
2.2 Breaks and Meal Periods: Breaks will be provided as required by state laws. Managers and fellow staff should make an effort to allow rest breaks when conditions allow, and in a reasonable manner as to not create a burden to fellow staff. Breaks for longer than 10 minutes should be conducted off the clock (punch out). Any period of time that the employee must leave the premises, not including time spent as a function of employment duties, the employee should not be on the company timeclock.2.3 Timekeeping: Accurate timekeeping is essential. You are responsible for accurately recording your work hours and any breaks or meal periods taken. Any discrepancies should be immediately reported to your supervisor or manager.Dress Code and Personal Appearance
3.1 Uniform: As a Subway employee, you are required to adhere to the following dress code:
Solid color pants, shorts, shirts, or dresses.
The length of pants, shorts, and dresses must be no shorter than mid-thigh.
Clothing must be clean, unsoiled, and without rips, tears, or holes.
All staff must wear a hat/visor, name tag, and Subway shirt as provided.
Shoes must be closed toe/heel, be clean and approved as non-slip restaurant shoe. Employees will regularly be walking in an environment which can be slippery including debris, water, soap and other hazards on the floor.
Workplace Safety
4.1 Occupational Health and Safety: Sub 1107 LLC, DBA. Subway is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. You must follow all safety guidelines, as required, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
4.2 All staff should work in accordance with safe food handling recommendations. Handwashing should be conducted frequently. Including but not limited to, when starting shift, changing tasks, returning from bathroom, changing gloves, touching skin, clothes or body, touching contaminated surface, or when planning to touch food or food contact surfaces.4.3 Gloves shall be worn during all food preparation and food handling.4.4 Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures, including evacuation routes, fire safety protocols, and first aid procedures. Report any safety concerns to your supervisor or manager.4.5 Subway's premises, not limited to the kitchen and back area, are restricted to authorized personnel for safety and operational reasons. Employees are strictly prohibited from entering these areas unless they are scheduled to work or have explicit permission from their supervisor or manager. This policy ensures the safety of all employees and the efficient operation of our restaurant. Non-employees are NEVER permitted in these areas.4.6 Loitering by employees, as well as their friends or family members, on premises is strictly prohibited. Employees are expected to always maintain a professional and productive work environment. This includes refraining from lingering on the premises before or after scheduled work hours, unless specifically authorized by management. Any unauthorized loitering may disrupt operations and compromise the safety and security of the workplace.Employee Meals and Discounts
5.1 Employee are entitled to a free 6-inch sandwich or salad or pizza and side (bag of chips or two cookies) immediately before, during, or after a working shift that was conducted for a duration of at least 2 hours. The employee shall ring the sale, use the appropriate discount button, type their name on the printed receipt and store in the weekly paperwork. Meals may not be ‘saved up’ or shared with other co-workers or non-staff. Any additional food may be purchased at a discount of 50% off, discounted food must be consumed or purchased with such intent that it was to be consumed by the employee. At this time, no discount is offered to family, and or friends of employees. Abuse of the employee meal discounts will be treated as theft and result in termination of employment.
5.2 Fountain drinks are included but care should be given to avoid cup and syrup waste.5.3 Bottled drinks may be purchased with a 50% off discount, follow the same procedure for recording the sale as employee meal.Conclusion
